Magnetic attachment
MAGNETIC "SUCTION PADS"
These studs are highly stable flat models with an entirely metallic surface, which makes them extremely robust. They are used in handling, tooling, attachment, display and advertising.
These studs have a very good level of distance attraction. Their large diameter makes them very stable with respect to rocking.
They do not require a thick strike plate.
A panel of Ferram is flush-fitted into a soft steel case. This case is used both for protection and as an external pole-piece. A polymer lining insulates the two materials from each other.
Mounting
By adhesive bonding, press fitting, screwing, moulding, etc.
Temperatures
Maximum operating temperature: 200°C, except for the VM8013H hook pad (60°C).

White magnetic hook pads: these are used to hang or mount all types of signs in shops, or everything that needs to be visible in the office. This can be done easily and quickly, without nails or screws, on any metal structure.
Mounting
By adhesive bonding, press fitting, screwing, moulding, etc.
Temperatures
Maximum operating temperature: 130°C.

MAGNETS ATTACHMENT
LATTAM magnets are used for the following applications:
- you have a thin surface but a large area.
- you need good attraction from a distance
- you need a high resistance to slippage
- you need to protect fragile surfaces.
LATTAM magnets consist of magnets bonded onto a metal plate.
The magnetic face has several poles (North/South), whereas the opposite face does not develop any attraction.
They exist in several forms:
- standard bare (magnets + field plate)
- standard potted (visible magnets, black impact polystyrene potting)
- anti-slip potted (magnets + plate completely coated with a synthetic polymer).
These LATTAM Magnets are mounted by adhesive bonding or potting, or by screwing in certain cases (ref. Screw type or Lug type), or by clipping into place in other cases (ref. Clip-on or Tee type).
For optimum operation, the strike plate must be more than 1 mm thick.
