Injected Plasto-magnets

Composite material made up of a thermoplastic binder and a magnetic powder.
 
These plasto-magnets are manufactured by pressure injection. Magnetisation is carried out either during the moulding operation (anisotropic material), or after moulding.
 
The complex shape possibilities using this technology enable several functions to be provided by a single part. Thanks to the excellent mechanical properties of this material, it is possible to obtain tight tolerances and therefore to save on the end product, e.g. sintering, grinding, balancing and assembly.

Compressed plasto-magnets

Composite material made of a thermo-hardening binder and a magnetic powder.
 
These plasto-magnets are manufactured by cold compression. Magnetisation is carried out after assembly.
 
In addition to standard shapes (cylindrical, blocks or rings), it is possible to obtain less basic shapes.
 
Thanks to the compression process, it is possible to use moulds of a relatively simple design, which therefore cost less than those used for injection.
